Nestled in mallee woodlands on the shores of the Bay of Shoals near Kingscote on Kangaroo Island, Shoal Bay Studio is a vibrant creative space where nature and art come together.

The studio is home to a stunning collection of pottery, bespoke hand-made jewellery, photography and original paintings and prints - all created with passion, skill, and a deep connection to the island’s natural beauty.

Whether you're seeking a unique piece of hand-crafted jewellery, a breathtaking photograph, or an original artwork to adorn your space, you’ll find something truly special at Shoal Bay Studio.

The studio is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays between 10 am and 4 pm, or by appointment at other times.

Please note that all prices are quoted in Australian Dollars.

New creations are added to this website on an ongoing basis and you are thus encouraged to visit the site regularly!

JEWELLERY

Welcome to my collection of hand-crafted necklaces, bracelets, bangles, earrings, pendants and brooches. Each piece is a once-off, bespoke expression of heart felt inspiration for your wearing pleasure. While general themes may be repeated, each item is unique and never mass reproduced. Fine and sterling silver, crystals and stones, and touches of gold are the primary materials that I work with.

A collection of artworks by the late Gloria Holden, inspired by the many years she spent living in Africa, in awe of its raw beauty and magic. Original paintings as well as fine art paper and canvas prints are available and waiting to adorn your walls.
