Rainbow Over Remarkable Rocks
Perched above the sea in Flinders Chase National Park, the impressive Remarkable Rocks are formed from granite that has been weathered by the erosive forces of wind, sea spray and rain over some 500 million years into fantastic shapes, with some covered by a most beautiful golden orange lichen. This photograph was taken on a late summer’s morning just after a light shower passed over, creating the rainbow over the rocks.
