I did a lot of conservation and environmental planning work at Madikwe Game Reserve in the North-West of South Africa, close to Botswana. This photograph was captured early one morning en route to the site we were to survey. I loved the way this young tusker was striding across the embankment with the softy, misty morning backdrop.
