The Everglades of Florida, USA are vast wetlands filled with all sorts of life, native and invasive, like escaped pet pythons! We spent a day out exploring a network of waterways and when we stopped for lunch I managed to capture this delicate heart shaped new water lily leaf emerging between the older ones, floating on the inky water with reflections of light.
